LifeShield Health, a division of Spyder Digital Research Inc. has been selected to be part of the 2018-2019 OBIO CAAP program.

The Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization (OBIO) is a not-for-profit engaged in strategy, programming, policy development and advocacy to further the commercialization of Ontario's human health science companies, through collaborative partnerships with industry, the investment community, academia, patients and government.

The OBIO CAAP is an intensive goal driven program of coaching and targeted advisor and investor introductions. The program drives fundraising success for health science companies looking to raise post-seed funding and operates downstream from existing entrepreneurship programs. It is a collaborative initiative between OBIO, industry and investors. CAAP harnesses the expertise and engagement from the Ontario health science community and investors from across Canada and the U.S. to accelerate growth of this important Ontario industry sector.

The groundbreaking LifeShield screen film combines chemical resistance, impact resistance and embedded antimicrobial product protection in a transparent film, making it an ideal solution for protecting digital screens in the healthcare setting while also protecting patients and medical staff from deadly pathogens.

"We feel privileged and honoured to have been selected by OBIO for this program. We look forward to advancing our partnerships and products as we continue to tackle the challenge of infection control in healthcare" says Michael Nitti, President of LifeShield Health.

LifeShield Health is focused on developing products which reduce the spread of infectious disease and protect healthcare equipment.

LifeShield looks forward to working with OBIO and their vast network of expert advisors over the next year.
